As the sun rose over the horizon, John packed his bags for the last time and set out on a journey of self-discovery. He had always felt like something was missing in his life. He hoped this journey, this final attempt, would help him find what he was looking for.

The road was long and winding, but John was determined to see it through. The weather was awful; hail was rattling off the tops of car roofs. He walked for hours, taking in the sights and sounds of the world around him. As he walked, he thought about his life and the choices he had made up to that point. He thought that he had been living his life for others, and not himself. This journey was his chance to change that.

He alone was what really mattered in this world, he needed to see that. To be bound by the expectations of others was a prison of one's own making.

With each step, he felt more and more free. He was no longer bound by what others thought or wanted for him. He was free to be himself, and that was the greatest gift of all.
